MEL-PLEX PRoject 7
I was born in Brussels, Belgium. I have a B.Sc. in Medical Biology from the Paul Lambin Institute (Brussels) and a M.Sc in Integrated Systems Biology from the University of Luxembourg. I have worked as a lab technician in several biotechs in Belgium and at the Institute of Immunology in Luxembourg. I mostly worked on sequencing technologies and on models of sequence evolution.
Why are you doing a PhD?
In today’s society a PhD is nearly essential to get a significant position in the biomedical research. While I managed to climb the ladder and publish without it, I felt now is the time to continue my academic path.
