A Post-doctoral Research Fellow position is now available at Systems Biology Ireland, University College Dublin, for the production, purification and characterisation of signalling proteins using baculoviral expression systems.

Project description:

SBI is looking for a Post-doctoral Researcher with expertise in the generation of protein expression vectors, use of the baculovirus expression system, protein purification and biochemical protein characterisation to contribute to an academic-industry collaborative programme of work. The appointee should have a broad repertoire of knowledge and practical skills in these areas. Knowledge of and/or a keen interest in kinase signal transduction is desired. While the emphasis of this post is on experimental work, the candidate will have a strong interest to collaborate with computational scientists and clinical researchers. This presents a unique opportunity for creative individuals who want to work at the cutting-edge of systems biology.
